KENSOSHA, Wisc.--
Bolstered by runner-up performances by Cristin Samuels in the 3,000 meters and Carissa Martin in the 800 meters, the Bellarmine women's track team improved its position in day 2 to finish third overall in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Indoor Track Championships today at Kenosha, Wisc.
The third place finish is the best for an indoor track team at Bellarmine since the GLVC began an indoor championship in 2000.
Assuring themselves a spot on the All Conference team are the members of the distance medley relay team (Lindsay Boyce, Kelsey Love, Molly Culbertson and Martin), who won the event in yesterday's proceedings.
