CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind.--The Bellarmine University men's and women's track teams opened the 2010 indoor track season in record-breaking fashion with 11 new school records set at The Little Giant Track Invitational hosted by Wabash College.
New Women's School Records:
55m Hurdles: Nora Bowe – 9.51 (also a freshman record)
400m: Kelsey Love – 1:01.32 (eclipsed her own school record)
4 x 200m Relay: 1:51.92 (Rachel Eyckmans, Nora Bowe, Elaine Kuntz, Katie Neiser) – of special note all four are freshmen!
4 x 400m Relay: 4:16.29 (Molly Culbertson, Allison Echler, Kristen Hamrick, Kelsey Love) – three freshmen!
New Women's Freshman School Records:
55m Dash: Elaine Kuntz – 7.63
New Men's School Records:
55m Hurdles: Seth Sigler – 7.85 (also a freshman record)
4 x 200m Relay: 1:32.83 (Will Saucer, Dominique McGinnis, Seth Sigler, Juan Garrett)
New Men's Freshman School Records:
Long Jump: Nic Hushebeck – 6.15m
Triple Jump: Nic Hushebeck – 12.14m
Shot Put: Jonathon Neff – 13.56m
Weight Throw: Jonathon Neff – 12.93m (ties frosh record)
