Drew Harris has been honored as GLVC Runner of the Week four times in 2009.
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University's
Drew Harris has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Runner of the Week in men's cross country, the fourth time this fall Harris has garnered that honor.
Harris, a junior and a graduate of Campbell County High School, captured first-place honors last Saturday at the Great Lakes Valley Conference / Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association Challenge by finishing the eight-kilometer course in 24:17. As a team, NKU posted a seventh-place finish with a score of 166.
The Norse next compete at the GLVC Championships in Louisville, Ky., on Oct. 24.
