5K Showdown Moved to March 20 - Entries Close March 12

What is more 2021 than some changes to a set schedule? We have made the decision to do some shifting for the 2021 KYtrackXC 5K Showdown in the interest of the athletes and teams while maintaining the standards set forth by the KHSAA competition guidelines.

We will be competing this year at North Oldham High School on March 20. Christian Academy of Louisville will still be our host school as they have been for years! The location change is due to a conflict in schedule and the date change to accommodate the sessions that we will be running due to COVID restrictions as well as making it accessible to schools that are in session to meet that time schedule. We will also be LIVE on Milesplit for all of the races. So you won't miss the action!

Our schedule will be:

Session 1:

Girls 4:45 Start

Boys 5:15 Start

Break 5:45-6:15

Session 2:

Girls 6:15 Start

Boys 6:45 Start

We may add another session if the demand is there, but that will be determined once the entries are closed. Who will be in which session will be determined after entries close and meet management (me) can look at the entries. We will have to keep to the team limit in each session but will also do the absolute best we can to make sure the competition is even. We want a great race and we plan to have just that!
