2020 has been nothing short of challenging... to say the least, and to add to that, for the first time in forever the KHSAA State Cross Country Championships will be held somewhere other than the Kentucky Horse Park.
Last week it was announced that the 2020 State Championships would be hosted in Paris, Kentucky at Bourbon County High School's brand new home course. It resides on a former cow pasture and has hosted only one meet EVER, which was just last weekend at the KTCCCA Meet of Champions.
Today, I made the trip out there to get a glimpse of this beautiful new course and try to capture the ups, downs, twists, and turns for those who might not see the course before what might be the biggest race of their running careers!
Special thank you to Coach Matt Perraut for allowing me to come out and showing me around, and everyone who worked to get this course in shape for such an important race!
