KTCCCA Meet of Champions is On

The Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced the plan for post-season racing amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Below is a statement from KTCCCA Executive Director, Frank Miklavcic.

The following is the finalized schedule for KTCCCA events over the next twelve weeks.   A speculative schedule for each event is attached.   Those schedules will probably change somewhat when we get final entries in.

I have deleted all previous entries on Milesplit and split the meet up into five different websites.   Final details will be posted there Sunday and entries will be reopened then.  Hard deadline will be eight days before the respective meets.   We will not deal with any late entries.

Masks will be required for all in attendance.  No exceptions.  No tents allowed.  Athletes will be responsible for their own hydration needs.

Championship races will have a maximum of 7 runners.  Your extra runners will be considered open runners in the Open Division.  Clubs may enter the Open Division.

High school races will have a maximum of 7 runners.   There will be a maximum of 250 in each class.   Once that maximum is reached,  any teams that miss that cutoff may run in the 5:00 overflow races, along with your JV runners.

Entry fees are $50.00 per team(boys and girls are separate teams) or $15.00 per individual.  Get your purchase orders in now.  We will not be dealing with checks in the mail excuses on race day.  To minimize contact with coaches from all parts of the state,  we will not deal with this on race day.
