2A Boys
In a landslide poll vote, the Highlands boys come into the season as favorites over Western Hills after their 4th place finish in 2019! They return every single one of their state finishers from 2019 including their top guy, Sam Hopper, entering just his Sophomore year! On paper, Western Hills and Lexington Catholic seem to be on track for a good year, but Highlands can no doubt make a lot of noise in 2020!
2A Girls
Bourbon County and Highlands battled tooth and nail in the polls, but it seems that the Girls will join the Highlands Boys team as preseason voter favorites coming into the 2020 season! Highlands brings top Senior Maggie Schroeder along with a slew of young Sophomore talents into the 2020 season, while Bourbon County will return their whole 2019 state team including their rising star Bethany Simpson entering her Freshman year!
