The quartet of Xavier Gallo, Connor Ackley, Nate Gilbert and Mitchell Messer made it look easy on Saturday at the French Field House.
The Wildcats squad, repping Hilliard Davidson, went 8:17.27 for a OH No. 8 mark and a landslide victory at the OSU Buckeye High School Qualifier #4.
When the team receives a push in competition, look for them to shoot up that state leaderboard. Next stop for the group will be the UK High School Invite, scheduled for this Saturday in Lexington.
