Thanks to a little insider information, I was able to cover my you-know-what pretty well on this one and not look like a complete dummy. Although I didn't have Collegiate ranked I gave a little statement at the beginning saying that they're a team to look out for adding Meredith Sierpina to the xc squad for the first time after her 3rd place finish in the state 3200m as a Junior. Despite that though, I didn't expect them to win state!
Another pretty big surprise for me was Lexington Christian, Anna Rupp is hard to disregard as the easy favorite going into the year but I definitely looked past the depth in their roster compared to some of the other more vulnerable rosters ranked ahead of them.
