Boy's 5th Runners of the Week

Alex Pollock- Frederick Douglass

The Henry Clay/Tanner Duke Invite showcased some of Lexington's biggest rivals. Frederick Douglass was constructed to reduce overcrowding in Henry Clay and on Saturday, the Broncos took the cake against the Blue Devils by just 4 points! Alex Pollock

Seth Meader- South Laurel

The Meader boys bookended the team score as his brother Drew was the top finisher for the Cardinals. Finishing in 18:27, however, Seth was the deciding factor in South Laurel's win at the Catbird Classic. Through 4 scorers, Corbin was in the lead 34-39, but with Seth's 17 points opposed to 23 for Corbin.

Clayton Carter- Oldham County (6th man)

Although the 5th runner normally holds the most power in dictating the teams placing, maybe more important in this circumstance was Clayton as the 6th runner. After crossing the finish line in 19:06, Oldham County and Bullitt Central were tied and when it came to the tiebreaker, Clayton was the man with all the power boosting the Colonels to a 3rd place finish at the Central Kentucky Run for the Gold.
