    Exciting Team Battles Lie Ahead for Class A Girls

    Bishop Brossart took home a team title at last years state championships with their impressive 1-5 split of just 1:17 and will most certainly be eyeing yet another. They'll have their hands full though as some of their inner regional opponents are looking extremely strong this year. You'll definitely want to make it out early to see the first race of the day at the Horse Park because the entire top 5 teams are separated by just 38 points!  On our final day of preseason team previews we take a look at the Class A Girls to see who can solidify their names in the history books for 2019.

    On another note, although you won't see them on this list as they sit in 6th, it's worth mentioning Louisville Collegiate will add Meredith Sierpina to their Cross Country team for the first time as she enters her Senior year. An inside source on the team mentioned to me that she is one of the top cyclocross riders in the country and is just running for fun this year. She has no 5k on record so her time can't be factored into the team scores, but after finishing 3rd in the 3200m at state with a 12:05, she could bolster those ladies to a new level.
