10. Clay Franklin (North Oldham - Freshman)
Season Bests: 14'9" Indoor @ Wildcat Classic on 1/27/2018
Clay is a freshman who leapt onto the scene at the class AA state track meet with a 9th place finish where he cleared 11'6". Since the indoor season began, he has cleared 13 feet in all four meets and set the Wildcat Classic meet record. Not to mention, the kid is ranked US #1 for freshman this indoor season. He was the 2017 KTCCCA middle school state champion. If he can keep this pace, he will be the class AA state champion as a 9th grader and a plethora or opportunities for him to set records over the next four years.
