Former Pulaski County Sprinter Austin Hyden Helps to Set UL's Indoor 4x4 Relay Record

Former Pulaski County Sprinter/Jumper/Distance Runner Austin Hyden was a member of the University of Louisville's 4x400m Relay that ran a 3:13.60 setting a new Indoor school record.

On the men's side, the 4x400 meter relay team broke the school record with a time of 3:13.60, breaking the previous record of 3:15.12 set in 2013. They had been chasing the record in the three previous meets and finally broke it to win their heat and finished fourth overall.

"To end the day Coach Johnson decided to switch the order up on our 4x400m relay team," Cowper explained. "Antoine, Jeron, Austin and Josh responded by setting a new school record at 3:13.60. Josh Hall tracked down Mississippi State with a 46.7 split to win the heat."
