St. Xavier senior William Mulloy has committed to Indiana University in Bloomington.
He was the Class AAA 1600m Kentucky State Champion last spring with a 4:18.38 as well as runner-up in the 800m with a 1:54.80. He ran a PR of 4:12.40 to the win the Kentucky Dream Mile as well as won the Emerging Elite Mile at New Balance Indoor Nationals with a 4:14.15. He showed range as well winning the KYtrackXC.com 5K Showdown with a 15:05.07.
Injuries knocked him out for this past cross country season for the full length of the season. He joins former Butler great and current Indoor All-American Tretez Kinnaird and former Daviess County runner Amelia Reynolds. Sacred Heart's Maggie Allen has signed to run at IU as well.
