Two of Kentucky's best will go head to head on the always fast Tom Sawyer Park tonight at the Jefferson County Public School Championship. Manual's Alena Sapeinza-Wright and Male's Kaitlyn Lacy both just 9th graders will have faced off twice this season with ASW winning the dual battle each time.  (Compare Athletes)  The gap was 14 seconds this past weekend at Lexington Catholic and only 4 seconds at Tiger Run.  Both of those were large races, prepare for a battle from the start is this small race tonight.  Lacy does have the upper hand on fastest time with a 18:18 from the Valkryie Invitational.

The boys battle will be Manual v. Eastern.  Manual led by its 1-2 punch of Darius Payne and Yared Nuguse and Eastern with is Super Frosh led by Luke Hoover and Sam Ackerman.  Ballard frosh Ben Currey is another on to watch out for.
