This was third year for the Calloway County Invitational and it was the third time Paducah Tilghman's Aleja Grant won the race. She shot off the line and went to the lead immediately gaining seconds on the fields within the first 100 feet. She cruised through the 5K to a one minute plus win with a 19:00. McCracken County showed their strength up front with a nice duo Ashley Zimmerman and Kayln Suitor up front. Very different running styles for the teammates, Suiter was in second at the mile with Zimmerman in eighth place. Zimmerman finished in 20:14 with Suitor at 20:40. The ladies helped lead their team to runner-up finish. While Graves County did not have a top four runner, they did have a pack. Faith Elder led the team in fifth place followed by 8,9,16,17, & 18 overall to win with 50 by four points over McCracken County. North Hardin made the trip down to Murray to finish third overall with 61 led by Hannah Corbin in 6th place.

From the start it was a pack race with Josh Betts (Calloway County), Marcos Macias (Graves County), Josh Grogan (McCracken County), and Micah Cherry (Carbondale) all leading through the mile. But by the Two Mile mark it was Cherry alone in front. The Illinois runner pulled away from the group roughly half way through the 5K and went on to win with a 16:49. Macias was charging hard at the end and making up a lot of ground over the last quarter mile to run 16:53. Christian Brothers (TN) dominated with purple up front. They looked comfortably in first place as a team at the mile and went onto win with 4,8,10,11,12,13,14 place finishes. Kyle Edwards led Christian Brothers with a 17:08. They won with 45 over Carbondale's 67. McCracken County was the top local team in 3rd place at 82.
