Girls Athlete of the Week: Mary Barron (Daviess County)
This senior won the Pole Vault at the Eastern Relays on Saturday. She vaulted a personal best of 11-00 to win. Mary currently has the best vault in the state. She has jumped gone over 10-00 every meet this season.
Boys Athlete of the Week: Brian Long (St. Xavier)
This senior traveled to Pennsylvania for the 113th Penn Relays Carnival. Brian won the 3000m Run against foes from across the nation. He ran an 8:24 to win. According to his Coach, Chuck Medley this is the second fastest time in the nation currently.
