Kentucky Ms. Track - Kianna Gray, North Hardin
Kentucky Mr. Track - Dante Johnson, North Hardin
Kianna Gray, a junior won four Class AAA State titles in May setting two overall Kentucky State Meet Records (200m & 400m.) She also tied the Class AAA State Record in the 100m Hurdles and barely missed a fourth record in the 100m Dash sitting only.01 back. Her PRs of 11.53 100m Dash, 23.72 200m Dash, and 54.60 400m Dash sit as the fastest times in Kentucky history in any high school meet.
Dante Johnson helped to lead North Hardin to their 2nd straight Class AAA State Team Championship with individual victories in the 110m Hurdles and 300m Hurdles. He had the fastest time in both events at the Kentucky State Track Meet including Class A & AA. He was also a member of the State Runner-Up 4x200m Relay team for the Trojans. Johnson will compete for Lindsey Wilson College next year.
