Raceland's Connor Messer Wins USATF Youth Outdoor Nationals Decathlon

Connor Messer, Class A multi specialist has won the Decathlon at the  USA Youth Outdoor National Championship in Bloomington, Indiana this week.  He won the grueling two day nine event competition with a total score of 5628.  This was a 400 point PR from last summer for Messer.  He beat his next closest competitor by over 600 points.  

This past May at the Kentucky State Track Meet, Messer won three Class A State titles (High Jump, 110m Hurdles, & Pole Vault)
