Kentucky has four athletes entered to participate at Nike Indoor Nationals this weekend. Mary Grace Pellegrini (duPont Manual) is the lone female, she is entered in the 2 Mile. She ran a 10:58 at the UK High School Invitational.
The three boys entered are Derrick Stallworth (Fort Campbell), Michael Seaman (Bardstown), and Chrys Jones (Mercer County.) Jones is one of the favorites to win the Triple Jump at NIN. Jones told me last week, "I was to go jump over 50 feet." Stallworth is running in the 60m Dash and 200m Dash. Stallworth won the 55m Dash at the Mason-Dixon Games last week. Seaman is going after the title in the Pole Vault. He has jumped over 15 feet five times this indoor season including a best of 15-06.25.
