Brendan Kelly & Cameron Smoak Named Mid-South Athletes of the Week

Smoak won the shot put and finished runner up in the javelin at Centre to earn the conference’s field award.  Cameron captured the win in the 17-man shot put with a toss of 44 feet and 1.5 inches (13.45m).  Smoak finished second in the 25-man javelin with a distance of 144-10 feet (44.15m), finishing behind teammate Dallas Defoor who threw 155-10 feet.  He contributed 18 points to the UC total that day.
