Pendleton's Jasmine Stowers set a new freshman record in the 60-meter hurdles at the Kentucky Invitational Saturday, according to live results.
Stowers placed second with the record time of 8.51 seconds.
Jacquelyn Coward was first in 8.17, setting a new high school record.
In the preliminaries Stowers was second in 8.62 to Coward's 8.39.
