Bowling Green, Ky. – Western Kentucky University track and cross country athlete Kevin Dick was named to ESPN the Magazine's Academic All-District IV first-team Thursday. He was selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The Bowling Green, Ky., native and 2002 graduate of Greenwood High School earned similar honors in 2005. The senior holds a 3.91 grade point average, majoring in electrical engineering, mathematics, and religious studies.

Dick helped the Hilltopper cross country team to the Sun Belt Conference title in the fall, just missing all-league accolades with an 11th-place finish. In 2003, he earned all-Sun Belt laurels for his sixth-place finish at the league cross country championships, helping WKU to the conference crown.

In his first three years on the Hill, Dick was named to the Sun Belt Conference Commissioner's List, which honors the league's student-athletes who acquire a 3.5 GPA or higher.
