My name's Lovice Pollock and I'm a Sophmore at Bowling Green High School.
I ran track last year (first year), and this is my first year of cross country.
Our team qualified for cross country state in AAA , which hasn't happened since about 2001 or 2000. We got 4th in our Region @ Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green.
I have a 5K pr time of 17:52 @ the Franklin-Simpson Wilderness Run.
2009-A 3000 meter pr of 10:37 at the Mason-Dixon Games at the Broadbent Arena in Louisville,Kentucky.
2008-A 3200 meter pr of 11:38 @ the Barren Co. Terry Reed Classic (12:20 in Region 1 AAA placing 19th).
2008-A 1600 meters pr of 5:19 @ SKY Conference @ Greenwood.
2008-A 800 pr of 2:26 @ Logan County All-Comers.
2008-I placed 31st in the cross country regional finals @ Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green.
2008-I placed 126th out of 229 runners in the AAA state finals in a time of 18:18 @ horse park in Lexington.
2008-Our team placed 15th out of 28 teams.

2009: Cross Country Season
I'm a Junior at Bowling Green High School. This past summer I attended The University of Kentucky's Track and Field/ Cross Country Camp, which was pretty fun and a great experience. I recommmend it to anyone that wants to learn about running and wants to run on the next level(college, profession, etc.). It helped me on my form and a lot of other things.
This is my second year of cross country, and in 2010 it will be my third year of track and field. This season has been a little shaky with non consistency and being injured (hip).
5k: a pr of 17:38.70 (short course) @ Bowling Green City-County @ Kereiakes Park.(The site of the 2009 Region 2AAA cross country meet.)
This is my second year of cross country, and we made it to state again! We got third at region( behind greenwood and grayson county). I got 20th at regions in a time of 18:20 at the tough kereiakes course.
At state I ran a 18:32, which is a p.r. for that course, and placed 128th out of 221 runners. The team placed 12th out of 27 teams which is an improvement!
I also competed in the foot locker regionals in charlotte,north carolina, which was a great experience and I would recommend this also to anyone before they graduate! I ran in the junior race, and placed 128th out of 195 runners in a time of 18:18. The race was great, and it was a pretty fast course too.
