Runners of the Week for October 19, 2011.

Seniors Ann Eason, Ashley El Rady, Colin Grandon, and Jon Renneker lead off the first pre-state interview session in preparation for this weekends action.

Athletes of the week for sprints, distance, and field events. 

Full Preview of the Team and Individuals races for the Class AA Boys State Meet which will start at 12:15 on Saturday morning at the Kentucky Horse Park.

 The Eastern Kentucky area cross country season will start on Thursday night with the Early Season XC Showcase at the John Clark X-Country Course in Westwood.   Ashland Blazer, Bath County, Boyd County, Elliott County, Fairview, Greenup County, Morgan County, Raceland, and Russell are the teams that are participating in the showcase. 

Amy Adams, senior at Ashland Blazer has committed to run for Thomas More College next year.
