Meet Information
The 2011 Daviess County 6k relay is be held at Yellow Creek Park near Owensboro on Saturday, August 27th.
The varsity races will be a relay format. Each school will pair up their runners and may enter 5 pairs (10 total runners). Each partner will run 3,000 meters with a baton. The first of each pair will hand off to his partner after his leg (3,000 meters) and the second runner will run his leg and into the finish.
Places will be determined by adding the places of your top 3 pairs. Coaches can pair their 10 varsity runners up in any manner they desire. Remember to bring your own batons for each of your pairs! We will try to have some extra batons for sale, but obviously cannot furnish enough for the entire field.

8:30 am Coaches Meeting
9:00 am Combined Mens & Womens Junior Varsity 3,000 meters
(Team & individual placing & scoring will be split into genders through computer results)
9:40 am Womens Varsity 6K relay
10:10 am Mens Varsity 6K relay
10:50 am Middle School Girls 3,000 meters
11:10 am Middle School Boys 3,000 meters
Awards: Varsity Relays top 10 pairs and top 3 teams
Middle School top 15 individuals and top 2 teams
Jr. Varsity top 15 individuals and top team
The entry fee will $60.00 per team (ladies and mens squads from the same school are considered separate teams). This will cover all JV and Varsity entries. Middle School
entry fees are $50.00 per team (girls and boys teams are separate.)

and fax or mail it to us. Entries must be in our hands by noon on Tuesday, August 23rd..
