Dragon Invitational 2010

The coaching staff of South Oldham High School would like to invite you and your team to the nineteenth annual Dragon Invitational, Saturday, October 16, 2010. The single loop course is a runners favorite. The course is fairly flat with a few short hills. Over a half mile is through woods, crosses a couple of creeks, and the race will finish with the last 300 meters on the track. This is a tactical, challenging course that can produce fast times. The race will be conducted out of the football field at Oldham County High School in Buckner, Ky. Directions are enclosed.

This course is tentatively the AA region three course for 2010. This will be an opportunity to run the course prior regions.

9:00 AM Girls Elementary
9:35 AM Boys Elementary
10:10 AM Girls Middle School
10:55 AM Boys Middle School
11:35 AM Boys/Girls combined JV
12:15 PM Girls Varsity
1:00 PM Boys Varsity
Awards Presentation after each division finishes as soon as results are available.

Varsity teams are limited to 10 runners per team. Multiple team entries are permitted for an additional team fee per team.
A Reserve team can consist of an unlimited number of runners as long as a varsity team is fielded.

The top five (5) will be scored and in case of a tie, we will go to the sixth(6th) runner in all divisions.

Elementary and Middle School races will be conducted following the age divisions of the meet of champions.

Boys Varsity and Reserve - 5000 Meters
Girls Varsity and Reserve - 5000 Meters
Boys Middle School - 4000 Meters
Girls Middle School - 4000 Meters
Boys Elementary - 3000 Meters
Girls Elementary - 3000 Meters
