Rocket Middle School Distance Night
Assumption Green
4500 Champions Trace Lane (Louisville, KY)
Rocket Middle School Distance Night is an event for 5th-8th grade distance runners, structured to provide competitors with an opportunity to run a personal best time in either the 800 or 1600 within a fun, festive event setting. Races will be run in the evening across three different divisions (Open, Junior and Senior), with the faster races being held later in the event. We will accept school team, club team and unattached entries into this event.

Entry deadlines: note that if the meet reaches capacity prior to either of the deadlines below, then we will have to close the meet in advance of the deadlines below.
Standard entry deadline: Saturday, April 14 at 6:00pm
Late entry deadline: Sunday, April 16 at 6:00pm
All entries submitted up until the entry deadline must be submitted through the Milesplit website. Athletes may be entered into any of the 3 divisions (Open, Junior or Senior). Once the standard entry deadline closes, coaches may still submit late entries up until our late entry deadline. Late entries must be submitted by email to Meet Director Barry Haworth (bmhaworth@louisville.edu). Late entries will only be considered for Open Division races. No late entry will be allowed into a Junior or Senior Division race, as those races will have already been seeded.
Team entry fees (for 4 or more athletes): $30 per girls team, $30 per boys team
Note: each team entry fee allows unlimited entries in all boys races (Open, Junior and Senior Division) or all girls races (Open, Junior and Senior Division).
Individual entry fees (for 3 or fewer athletes): $8 per individual girl, $8 per individual boy
Late entries: $10 per individual (unlimited individuals, but we will not cap the overall amount i.e. coaches with 1 late entry pay $10, coaches with 10 late entries pay $100).
