Grant County Middle School Track & Field Meet
Date: Friday, May 11th, 2018
Time: 5:00PM (Coaches meeting at 4:30 at the finish line)
Location: Grant County High School 715 Warsaw Road, Dry Ridge, KY 41035
Cost: $85.00 per team. (Boys & Girls are 2 separate teams.) Additional teams can participate for $40.00 per team as a "B" or "C" team. Individual entries are $10.00. There is no fee for parking, but admission for adult spectators is $5/person; student admission is $3 (Under 6: admission is free). Concessions will be available.
Entries: Only 2 athletes per team per event and 1 relay team per event. MAXIMUM of 4 events per athlete (including relays). Submit entries to Phil Amstutz via MileSplit. Questions: phil.amstutz@wv.kyschools.us
Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1.
Awards: Top 2 teams will receive trophies & Top 3 individuals will win medals, positions 4-6 will receive ribbons.
Running Events: Regular order of events. All heats are final. 3200 M Relay, 100 M Hurdles, 100 M Dash, 800 M Relay, 1600 M Run, 400 M Relay, 400 M Dash, 200 M Hurdles, 800 M Run, 200 M Dash, 1600 M Relay.
The 3200 M Run will not be contested.
Field Events: All field events will be "finals-only" format with 3 attempts. After the 5:00 start, subsequent events will be on a rolling schedule.
