Bracken County Middle School InvitationalBracken County High SchoolMay 9th 2017Thank you for your interest in attending the Inaugural Bracken County Middle School Invitational. We have a brand new 8 lane track and will contest all field events with the exception of pole vault. Please submit your entries online at ky.milesplit.com. Faxed or written entries will not be accepted. Competitor numbers will be assigned and emailed to coaches prior to the meet. They will also be available in the packets handed out at the coaches meeting.This meet will be capped at 10 full girl and boys teams. Where: Bracken County High School (350 West Miami Street, Brooksvillle, KY 41004)Start Time: Coaches Meeting 4:45pm Field Events: 5:00pm Track Events 5:00pmCost: Entry Fee is $75 per team (boys and girls will count as two teams). Schools with fewer than 7 runners in either gender can enter athletes for $10 each or $25 per relay. A "B" is allowed and the charge will be $50 per team added. Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1Awards: There will be a team awards for the 1st and 2nd place teams on the girls and the boys side. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event with ribbons for fourth through eighth.We will give an award to the highest scoring female and male athlete (Relay points to be divided)Entries: Each team may enter 3 athletes per event and 1 relay team. Athletes may only be entered into 4 events total including relays. The entry deadline is May 6th at 11:59pm. In all running events, female athletes compete first. ALL running events will check in at the check in area behind the starting line. Athletes need to report to the check in on second call. This will enable athletes to check in and then report back to their field event until their event is ready to run.
