Trinity and Tyson Gay Invitational

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Tyson Gay Invitational at Lafayette High School. This meet will help honor our past and present Lafayette Track Stars while preventing gun violence. Please register online at ky.milesplit.com by April 19th. Competitor numbers will be assigned and emailed prior to the meet and will be made available in packets during the coaches meeting.
Cost: $75 per Gender Team (boys/girls). Please make checks payable to Lafayette High School Track and Field. Checks can be mailed and received by April 20th to Lafayette High School, 401 Reed Ln., Lexington, KYATTN: (Crystal Washington)-Track and Field.
*Checks may be brought the day of the meet.
Meet Schedule: Coaches Meeting 10:00 am
Pole Vault 10:30 am
Field Event 10:30 am
Moment of Silence to honor Trinity Gay 10:45 am
Running Events 11:00 am
Meet will flow on a rolling schedule in regular order.
Entries: Each team may enter 2 athletes per individual event and only 1 team per relay event. Athletes may only participate in four events total.
Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1
Awards: Team awards will be given to the 1st and 2nd place girls and boys teams. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event and ribbons for the 4th through 6th place finishers.
Admission: Cost will be $6 for adults and $4 for children.
Parking: We ask that you avoid parking street side near the track to prevent traffic violations and problems. Parking will be available on Reed Ln. in front of the Lafayette. Any overflow will need to park on Springhill Drive, behind the baseball field.
Additional parking will be available on site near the softball and baseball fields on Springhill Dr. Buses will be asked to park behind the track near the softball field, on Springhill Drive as well.
Concessions will be sold during the meet for your enjoyment.
