Timeline for entries (this information will also be posted at the KY milesplit link below):

1. Entry deadline: all regional entries must be submitted by 9:00pm on Friday, May 13. Entry submission is (only) made through the KY milesplit website.

2. Preliminary Performance List: a preliminary performance list will be made available by 9:00pm on Saturday, May 14. This list will be emailed to each of the coaches and ADs receiving this email and will be sent to the KY coaches distribution list (KYTF).

3. Challenge Deadline: coaches have until 9:00pm on Sunday, May 15, to challenge the listed performance of any competing teams entries. Challenges are made to the Regional manager who is charged with resolving the objection. When a challenge is made, the coach of that respective athlete must provide evidence of their athletes performance. Only published meet results at the milesplit website may be used for verification of performances. It is the responsibility of each coach to ensure that each of their meets has been posted at the milesplit website prior to the entry submission deadline of May 13.

4. Final Performance List: a final performance list will be made available by 9:00pm on Monday, May 16. This list will be emailed to each of the coaches and ADs receiving this email and will be sent to the KY coaches distribution list (KYTF).

Note that only in the case of documented medical emergency, can these deadlines be waived. This request must be submitted and approved by the KHSAA office.

Note that there is a $100 fine imposed by KHSAA for teams missing the deadline.

Note that Coaches are strongly encouraged to read the Regional Meet Instructions for teams that is posted at the KHSAA website.
A link to that file is provided here: http://khsaa.org/track/2016/regionalmeetinstructionsforteams.pdf

Collection of forms: we will collect all forms at the Coaches Meeting. As it states in the Regional instructions, the coaches meeting is the last opportunity for anyone to contest the eligibility of any entrant (i.e. whether an entrant satisfies the 4 meet limit).

Unified Athletes:
If you have unified athletes to enter, then please contact me asap and provide some numbers and events. I will need you to email me the names, events, class level and any performances of your unified athletes by the posted entry submission deadline (9pm, May 13).

Again, this is only for unified athletes, this is not for your standard entries. Unified athletes will not contribute to your standard team points or count against your standard team entry limits in each event.
