Daisy Glasser won the pole vault at USC with a vault of 12-6.25 against collegiate competitors.  Joe Franklin won the mile, Chris Ward took second in the 200m, and Odeika Bent took fourth at UK. 

At the Gasparilla Distance Classic the top Florida high school and collegiate performers were Christa Benton, Brigithe Moreno, Kailand Cosgrove, Austin Richmond, Scott Mackley, Grace Vandegrift, and Derek and Daniel Wehunt. Tampa Jesuit won Sunday's Marathon Relay.

West HS's junior Jacquelyn Coward once again set the national HS recourd in the 60 meter hurdles. also placeing third in the 400 and third in the 200.

Pendleton's Jasmine Stowers set a new freshman record in the 60-meter hurdles at the Kentucky Invitational Saturday.

A national runner-up for the 800m on a track in Lexington?  No, it is not the Southeastern Conference Indoor Championship (that’s next week) but the UK High School Invitational.  Held this Saturday in Lexington at the Nutter Fieldhouse, this meet is put on by the University of Kentucky Miler’s Club.
