Meet Information
We will once again be hosting the Spring Thaw Relays in 2014. With the absence of the Mason-Dixon Games, the need for qualifying times in the 4x800 and 3000m has been eliminated. Therefore, this meet will become a pure relay meet.
The meet will begin at 12:00pm and include the following running events:
4x800
Shuttle Hurdle Relay
4x200
DMR (1200-400-800-1600)
800m SMR (100-100-200-400)
1600m SMR (200-200-400-800)
4x400
Note: if the temperature is below 40 degrees, we will not run the sprint relays. Multiple relay teams are allowed. Boys and girls will run together in the DMR. We will do all field events except pole vault. In the field events, the top 3 performers from a school will be added to compute relay team points. Team trophies will be presented to the top boys and girls teams.
Entry fee is $20/team, boys and girls are separate teams. There will be a $5 admission fee for non-participants. Concession stand will be open.
