The Fayette County Middle School Championship was held over the last two nights at Henry Clay High School with many state #1 times/marks being thrown down. 

The girls of Leestown MS won the 4x2 with a 1:51.34 which ranks them #1 in Kentucky.  Brooke Raglin of Lexington Traditional MS won the 100m and 200m Dashes on the girls side.

William Allen of Crawford MS was a one man scoring machine picking up wins in the 100m, 200, & 400m Dashes.  His winning times of 11.34 and 50.44 are current state leading times.  He was already the leader in the 200m dash.   His 50.44 is the #1 all-time ever in a middle school race on KYtrackXC.com. 

Thrower Landon Young of Jessie Clark MS added his own #1 All-Time in the Disc with a monster throw of 171-07.  He followed suit in the shot put as well winning 48-07. 

Derien Richardson is the new state leader in the 300m Hurdles as well with a smoking time of 42.28. 

The team titles went to EJ Hayes on the girls side and Beaumont on the boys side.  EJ Hayes had victories in the 400m Dash (Breanna Fryer), Jose Cunningham (800m), and Gloria Pulley (1600m.)  Beaumont was led by the 1-3 finish of Charlie Leppo and Evan Baker in the 110m Hurdles.
