Bart Denham graduated from Paul Dunbar High School in Lexington where he was the 1600m Run Champion at the Fayette County Championship. He also came back strong from a bout of being sick that knocked him out his junior year.

My trip to New Balance Nationals began with another long car ride. I headed to North Carolina on Wednesday morning. We stayed with one of my mom’s friends, who we also stayed with when I go to Foot Locker South.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – One year ago, Kentucky track and field and cross country runners Luis Orta and Josh Nadzam had an idea to start a shoe drive around the UK campus and Lexington area. By the end of the drive, the duo had collected 2,100 pairs of used shoes to donate to Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization in Nashville, Tenn. Year two was even better.
