Here is the new edition of Athletes of the Week, highlighting the best performers from this past week of competition.

This past Monday, April 18th, I stood aimlessly in a starting corral in Hopkinton, MA at the starting line of the USA’s most historic marathon, freaking out. After logging too many miles to count over the last six months, the quiet confidence I woke up with a few hours earlier was replaced with anxiety.

Rain and storms slowed down the meet this past weekend, but not the times as they are speeding up each week. (David Sahms of Fort Campbell)

With spring and the imminent hope for warm weather comes many things such as horse racing, spring football, picnics, biking adventures and much more but for me it means one thing, Penn Relays. The Penn Relays Carnival is one of the oldest and longest running (no pun intended) events in the sporting world. For someone who loves track and field The Relays, as they are colloquially known, represent the Mecca of the track and field world representing everything that is great and pure about the sport.

Kentucky had three top four finishes at the Volunteer Track Classic in Tennessee.

Check it out, a full breakdown of the weeks highlights.
After some tough decisions, we release this week's edition of the KYTRACK.com Athletes of the Week.

We're baaaaaaack!! And after looking at the changes to the stadium, better than ever. It has been a long two years but worth the wait. We all have heard the statement, "show me the money", look around and you will see it. Richland District Two has made Harry Parone Stadium nicer than most small college stadiums.

Butler Coach Brandon Lesher did his own version of Workout Wednesday yesterday with Tretez Kinnaird, Patrick Gregory, Allen Matthews, and Rashaun Langdon from his team and spring break guest Class A 1600m Champ Jacob Thomson of Holy Cross. Nice work by the boys on this one. 3 sets of 2 X 400m/4 X 200m 1 minute recovery in between intervals and 4 minute recovery in between sets.
