Seniors Hugo Beamish (Havelock North, New Zealand) and Brian Long (Louisville, Ky.) each registered personal best times with impressive runs in the 5000 meters at the Flotrack Husky Classic in Dempsey Indoor on Friday night. The two athletes are part of a small Villanova contingent running at this weekend's highly competitive West Coast meet.

The KHSAA Cross Country and Track Advisory Committee met last Friday in Lexington.  This group made up of coaches, officials, school administrators and KHSAA leadership make recommendations for changes to cross country and track in Kentucky.  Their recommendations are given to the KHSAA Board of Control to make the ultimate decision about any changes.    Here are some highlights from the meeting
