September 24, 2008 NXN Southeast Rankings, Daviess County Boys #10 and Assumption Girls Team to Watch

Thirty-six teams (over 1000 runners) have entered this year’s Gatorland Run at Phil Moore Park, hosted by Greenwood High School. Two undefeated runners will square off in the Boys Varsity race: Ryan Eaton (Greenwood) and James Maglasang (St. Mary).

Assumption is ranked #10 in the NXN Southeast Regional Rankings being distrubuted by the NSSF. Daviess County (Boys), St. Xavier (Boys), Sacred Heart (Girls), Paul Dunbar (Girls), and Meade County (Girls) are listed as bubble teams.

The 5th Annual Rumble Through the Jungle Cross Country Invitational, hosted by North Oldham High and Middle Schools, will be held on Saturday, September 13 at the Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve in Goshen, KY. Boys and girls races will be contested in the high, middle and elementary school divisions.

Annie Barry, is a senior at Oldham County High School in Buckner. She finished 7th at the 2007 Class AAA Kentucky State Cross Country Meet.
