Long, a senior at St. Xavier in Louisville answers questions about his national caliber performance at the Wildcat Invitational last Saturday. He has committed to the University of Louisville.

Big day for several top Kentucky athletes in Lexington. Barlow, Stallworth, and Rogers take down records at the Wildcat Invitational.

The Wildcat Invitational will take place this Saturday at Nutter Fieldhouse in Lexington. This is the first major indoor invitational held in Kentucky for the 2007 track season. In conjunction with the 47th edition of the Mason Dixon Games March 2-3, 2007, the Mason Dixon Athletic Club is hosting its 3rd Annual Mason Dixon Games Hall of Fame Banquet at the Executive Inn Tudor Room in Louisville, Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 7:30 PM. There will be a reception from 6:30-7:30 PM.

Field Events start Friday night at 5:30. Saturday Field Events start at 10:30 in the morning.

Competition runs deep in the veins of Americans. We tend to turn everything into a contest. Out of that competitive drive (and a love for both track & field and Mexican food) has arisen the new sport soon to be sweeping the nation.

Patrick graduated from Pulaski County High School where he began his stellar running career. He is currently a freshmen for the Western Kentucky Running Hilltoppers.
