FYI, they are parking people in a different area much further away from the finish area. I am not exactly sure where we are heading, I assume by the BMX.

Do you have the team finish order for Boys JV?
Do you know when the boys varsity results will be online? Want to confirm my time. Overall, it was a great meet. The competition and amount of teams was crazy. It's good that Thomson won, I hoped he would beat Burchum. And. The girls varsity times are crazy good. 17:45 for a girl is flying!

I will post the results this evening when they come out. I will add them onto the athlete pages as well for all the states.

Thanks. Love the site, it's really great. Definitely thinking about subscribing!

When you say the varsity boys times are being adjusted 5 seconds - is that a change from what was posted at the park? If so, is it minus 5? I thought Thomson won at 14:52, but results show 14:57.

That is what I was wondering. Not sure what he meant. Hopefully it is minus 5 seconds because that would put me under 18.
From what I understand the times originally posted at the meet and the ones given to me were five seconds off as in Jacob Thomson's 1457 was really a 1452.
I knew something was up after talking to a couple of the coaches about times.
Thank you for the coverage and updates. Sounds like it was an exciting day in Louisville. Contrats to St X for the win and Assumption for the runner up finishes.
Pretty significant team performances today. The St X win is very big, and for two KY girls teams to go 2-3 in todays field is pretty big too! Great job to Coach Hamilton at BG and Coach Medley for performances that should resonate on the Regional level for BG and certainly a National level for St X!

If Buechler (19:45 in the frosh race) runs the varsity race, and Simms runs where she did for them last weekend, Sacred Heart would be neck-and-neck with BG, so there are three girls teams with regional/national hopes.

True, and good point. We got a pretty good Regional ranking back in 2007 with the kind of performance SHA would have posted with those changes. Of course, if that team battle with SHA is going to pan out at State, there better not be a JV or Freshman race pulling anyone out of the Varsity race.

Looking a little further down the standings, how about this AA girls race:
12 South Oldham 347 37 40 51 102 117 150 161
Total Time: 1:40:57 Average: 20:11.30 1-5 Split: 1:31
13 Highlands 356 33 46 63 84 130 168 228
Total Time: 1:40:57 Average: 20:11.37 1-5 Split: 1:42
You might also keep an eye on Bullitt East as a darkhorse. They had 5 in the top 14 of the middle school girls race in addition to those that ran the HS races, and they will probably bring them up. (Of course, South Oldham also had four middle-schoolers up there, but they won't be bringing them up to varsity).

It's very cool how they are almost identical in every aspect. It was strange to see how similar they ran on saturday, too. Should be interesting... I have a few surprises up my sleeve, ha

Like you might do a couple of interval workouts before state?
Sorry...couldn't resist!

Thinking...its worth it. The way I looked at it is I use it and its valuable and couldnt imagine it not being here. Jonathan puts a ton of work it getting these numbers up and rankings. Lots more you can see also as a subscriber.
