Updates and news from the meet will be here.
Tyler Karnes is now on site and up and running for the UK High School Invitational. Really looking forwards to a great day of competition in the Bluegrass. Every competition or race is going to be packed with some of the best athletes in the nation, but a couple events were particularly pointed out as being ones to watch. Kendall Williams looks to light up the track and the field events as she is seeded to win the womens high jump, long jump, and 60m hurdles. On the distance side of things it will be interesting to see how KY's own Jacob Thomson stacks up against the nations elite on the track as he is seeded 4th in the mile (behind a 4:05 of Brannon Kidder) and 3rd in the 2 mile behind Brock Baker in 2nd and Tsehaye Hiluf (9:10). These are just some of the highlight of a star-studded meet and every event in loaded in its own respect. Videos and interviews will be a part of the coverage and check in throughout the day to hear about stellar performances.
Field events are underway here at UK running events to start soon after.
