Tretez Kinnaird (Butler), Class AAA Kentucky State 800m State Champion roasted a new personal best time of 1:50.71 to win the 800 at the Music City Distance Carnival in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday. The time ranks his top 15 in the nation and as the #1 sophomore for the 2011 Outdoor Track season. He also ranks as #2 in Kentucky behind former Male great James Doaty.
Kinnaird, has won three Kentucky State Championships in track (1 800m, 2 4x800 Relay.) He anchored the Butler Bears 4x800 to their second title with a unofficial 1:51 800 split.
