Men’s cross country takes 3rd place at GLVC Championship

KENOSHA, Wisc. – Today the Bellarmine mn's cross country team competed and placed third in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship meet today in Kenosha, Wisc. The men finished behind only Southern Indiana and Drury.

The men had two runners place in the top 15 earning All-GLVC honors. Junior Nate Dotterweich (Monticello, Iowa) placed 13th overall in a time of 25:34, and fellow junior Jordan Parayil (West Chester, Ohio) placed 14th overall in a time of 25:35. Senior Ben Draper also ran well, finishing just outside the top 15 in 17th with a time of 25:47.

It was a cold, but sunny day for the meet today in Wisconsin. The temperature was around 40 degrees and the course was in great condition, weather you can only hope for during this time of year in Wisconsin.

Bellarmine Coach Jim Vargo who was named Coach of the Year for Women's Cross Country, and  Mike Hillyard (Southern Indiana) who was named Coach of the Year for Men's Cross Country.
