ROLLA, Mo.--The Great Lakes Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships being hosted by Missouri S&T have concluded the first day's events, and the Bellarmine women's team stands in second place after six scored events, and the men are in fifth after just five events.
Among the top performers for the Bellarmine women's team were
Julia Zalewski in the throws events as well as
Erin Dwenger in the high jump and
Cristin Samuels in the 3000 meter steeplechase.
On the men's side,
Nathan Dotterweich's performance in the 3000-meter steeplechase and
Ben Draper's fifth place finish in the 10,000 meters were some of the highlights.
The meet concludes tomorrow.
