Morgan and Morgan lead the Field in the Furman Blue Shoes Elite Mile
Two former Kentucky greats lead the field at the Furman Blue Shoes Elite Mile Saturday. Patrick Morgan, Boyle County/Furman University and Thomas Morgan, Lexington Catholic/University of Kentucky will attempt to go sub 4 for the first time. Patrick has a best of 4:01.75 and Thomas has a best of 4:00.60.
Bobby Curtis, St. Xavier/Villanova is the only known Kentucky runner to go under 4 minutes for the mile.
