Boys Sprinter
Jonathon Scruggs of Holmes Middle School won the 100m and 400m Dashes at the Western Hills MS All-Comers last Wednesday. His winning times of 12.54 and 1:00.61 are currently the best times for Middle School in Kentucky.
Girls Sprinter
Caitlin Sullivan of Woodford County won the 200 Meter Dash and Long Jump at the Western Hills MS All-Comers. She also finished second in the 100 and 400 Meter Dashes. Her time of 29.46 in the 200 Meter Dash and jump of 14-01 in the Long Jump are both #1 in Kentucky for Middle School.
Boys Distance
Patrick Gregory of Notre Dame in Louisville won the 440 Yard Dash, 880 Yard Run, and One Mile Run at the St. Pius Invitational. His winning times were 57.11, 2:09.90, and 4:51.71.
Girls Distance
Jessica Byrd of St. Edwards in Louisville won the 440 Yard Dash and 880 Yard Run at the St. Pius Invitational. Her winning times of 1:05.84 and 2:32.90 both rank #1 in Kentucky for Middle School.
Boys Field Event
Jacob Biller of St. Edwards in Louisville won the Shot Put at the St. Pius Invitational with a throw of 40-10 which currently the best MS throw in Kentucky. He also won the Long Jump with a leap of 17-07 which leads Kentucky.
Girls Field Event
Mandy Mills of St. Edwards in Louisville won the Shot Put at the St. Pius Invitational with a toss of 30-01.50. This throw ranks #1 in Kentucky for Middle School.
