LOUISVILLE, Ky.--The Bellarmine University men's cross country team brought home a third place finish today at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship held today at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer Park. The Knights were paced by
Jordan Parayil and
Nate Dotterweich who earned All-GLVC honors with their top 15 finishes.
Southern Indiana took the team title, and Jaime Villa Zapatero of Drury University took the individual championship with a time of 25:00.93 over the 8-kilometer course.
Parayil and Dotterwich finished 10th and 11th respectively with their times of 25:42.29 and 25:49.20. Bellarmine had five runners finish in the top 30.
Bellarmine's season won't end with the conference championship, the Knights will now travel to Kenosha, Wisc. to compete at the NCAA Regionals on Nov. 7.
