Cameron Frazier (Daviess County) has been named the Kentucky Boys Track and Field Gatorade Athlete of the Year for 2009. Frazier, AAA State Champion in the Shot Put and Discus has already been named the KYtrackXC.com Field Event Athlete of the Year and the Mr. Track as the Kentucky Male Athlete of the Year by the KTCCCA. He led the state of Kentucky in the Shot Put with a toss of 59-02 and in the Discus with a 174-08. Frazier will continue his career next year at Western Kentucky University. He is the third Daviess County High School athlete to be chosen as the Kentucky Gatorade Athlete of the Year joining David Christian and Adam Smith.
