It was another collaborative effort from Fork Union Military Academy at the VISAA State Championships. They scored 142 points behind seven individual victories. Though every state title is important, this one meant a little more. This marked Coach Winston Brown's 20th state team title overall in just 15 years of coaching.
That means between cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track he has brought home 20 of the 45 state team titles. He then also has finished either second or third in basically every other team competition since 2003. The list of of athletes that he has coached is one to remember.
